Practical Workshops 2008
Background
The project Benchmarking in European Higher Education (2006-2008) organised three workshops to discuss and develop specific benchmarking concepts and practices with experts and practitioners, as well as to establish networks between potential benchmarking partners. Specifically the workshops offered practical advice on:
- How to select/identify the areas of activity to benchmark;
- How to select an appropriate benchmarking approach for identified areas;
- How to select relevant benchmarking partners and/or facilitator-coordinators;
- How to use the results of the benchmarking process;
- How to establish time frames for benchmarking;
- How to establish appropriate levels of human, technical and financial resources for the benchmarking process.
