BENCHMARKING IN EUROPEAN HIGHER EDUCATION

The conference Benchmarking in European Higher Education took place on 11 June 2010 in Brussels. The agenda included sessions on the benchmarking methodology and process, the EBI-II project outputs, the European policy context and, in particular, the Modernisation Agenda. In addition, the conference presented examples of good practice taken from the four benchmarking groups on curriculum reform, university-enterprise cooperation, governance and continuing professional development (CPD) as a component of lifelong learning.
The conference was attended by university administrators and policy-makers from over 20 countries.
